About My Friends Community

my friends community is to take islam to as many hearts and homes as possible ; and to help build strong islamic characters within the emerging and established muslim communities . my friends community was established in 2017 and has since grown tremendously . our outreach , target audience and beneficiaries are primarily the historically disadvantaged communities .

My friends community’s core functions encompass categories that include :

Zakat is not just a donation , it is an act of worship ordered upon us by allah ( swt ) to help ease the suffering of less fortunate men , women , and children . by trusting us with your zakat , you will not only be fulfilling your religious obligation , but you will also be helping tackle poverty and uplifting families & communities .

Nearly all our projects are zakat – eligible . from distributing food parcels to the less fortunate in need , giving widows the tools they need to feed their families , from providing urgent humanitarian relief poviding education to orphans

Teaching at our madressah teaching men & woman skill such as ; plumbing , electrical , welding , simple diy tasks , baking , sewing etc.
